Sometimes you receive an email you do not expect.
In 2024 LHV contacted us directly. Not the other way around. Estonia’s largest domestic bank wanted to order custom T-shirts from Blacksunset.
I am an LHV client myself. So seeing that request was a real moment: a company I trust with my money trusted me with their apparel project.
The paper airplane design
The brief was clear: black T-shirts, a paper-airplane illustration on the chest, and LHV logo on the sleeve.
The design works because it does not overdo anything. The airplane symbol communicates direction and ambition without noise, and the sleeve logo stays present without taking over the whole shirt.
Tee Jays black base, white vinyl print, clean proportions. Wearable after the event, not just during the event.
The gift nobody asked for
Then I added something LHV did not request.
I wrote and designed a separate T-shirt with the phrase “WHERE DREAMS INVEST” and gave it as a gift. Bold typography with LHV logo support, built as an extra gesture.
This is the same logic we used for Rand & Tuulberg where we added custom reflector bags without being asked. Blacksunset B2B is not “you get exactly what you ordered”. It is “you get what you ordered, plus one meaningful layer more”.
Why this matters to us
This is not about bragging. It is about what visibility means for a small brand.
Blacksunset is a one-person company from Tartu. I design, print, pack, and ship. No outbound sales team, no corporate prospecting machine.
LHV found us anyway. That is why we keep publishing transparent work and real process stories. Honest work attracts the right clients even when you are small.
